ADELAIDE WEDDING CEREMONIES“Marriage is a mosaic you build with your partner. Millions of tiny moments that create your love story.” - Jennifer Smith
Planning your own wedding will be one of the most exciting days of your lives. Let me help you make this day memorable for you by creating a ceremony that is relaxing and stress free.
Couples who choose me as their wedding celebrant want me to create a ceremony that will reflect who they are as a couple.
I will help you create a ceremony which incorporates your special thoughts and wishes, not only on your wedding day, but for your future together. A story of your love for each other, that will be reflected in the ceremony.
Symbolisms that can take place during the ceremony :-
- Handfasting or Tie the Knot Ceremony
- Rose Ceremonies
- Unity Sand Ceremonies
- Candle Lighting
- Dove Ceremony
- Warming of the Rings
- Honouring a loved deceased relative
I am a celebrant that is passionate about making celebrations memorable and meaningful.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MARRIAGE
The Notice Of Intended Marriage (NOIM) Form
The NIOM form must be lodged with your marriage celebrant NO LATER than one month before your wedding date, and no earlier than 18 months before.
In our initial meeting I will sight your original documents and fill in the details on the NOIM form
Birth Certificates and Passports
I must sight either an original birth certificate and photo ID, OR a valid Australian or overseas passport to establish the date and place of birth and confirm your identity before the marriage can take place.
(If any certificates are written in a language other than English, a translation by a registered translator is required.)
If you have been married previously, then I need to sight proof that the previous marriage is no longer valid by way of a Divorce Certificate, or a Death Certificate if you have been widowed.
Legal Witnesses to The Marriage
You require two legal witnesses to your marriage. These can be any two people you like over the age of 18 years. You will need to provide me with their full legal name (including middle names).
